Independent Living Apartments
The Independent Living Apartments are especially for couples or individuals 65 years or older who enjoy an active lifestyle, but who also appreciate the amenities and peace of mind offered at Our Lady of Angels.
You can join other residents for three delicious meals a day in our attractive buffet-service dining room, or choose to use your own kitchenette. There is an emergency call system in each unit to provide emergency assistance 24 hours a day. Although Our Lady of Angels is not licensed to provide nursing services in the Independent Living Apartments, residents here enjoy priority access to the Retirement Center and Nursing Center where nursing services can be provided.
Weekly housekeeping with linen change is provided. Daily supplemental housekeeping is available at an additional charge. For your convenience, a well equipped laundry room is located in the apartment area.
Assisted Retirement Living
The Retirement Center is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Sheltered Care Facility. Here Our Lady of Angels provides individual residents with nursing services beyond what can be offered in the Independent Living Apartments. These include:
Residents receive three delicious meals a day and weekly housekeeping and linen services as in the Apartments. Daily supplemental housekeeping is available at an additional charge.
Nursing Care
The Nursing Center is licensed by the State of Illinois as an Intermediate Care Facility. It is primarily available to the residents of Our Lady of Angels Apartments and Retirement Center when they require nursing care on a temporary or permanent basis as determined by their physicians. Here Our Lady of Angels provides individual residents with a variety of nursing services including:
